JUICE is in the cold-cruise phase of its eight-year journey to Jupiter, having successfully completed its Venus gravity assist on 31 August 2025. Launched from Kourou on 14 April 2023, the spacecraft has already pulled off the first lunar-Earth gravity assist in spaceflight history and, in late 2025, imaged the interstellar comet 3I/ATLAS from 0.428 AU.

Next up is the second of three Earth flybys, on 30 September 2026, en route to Jupiter system arrival in July 2031.
