En route to an ocean world.

Europa Clipper launched on October 14, 2024 aboard a Falcon Heavy from Kennedy Space Center. The largest spacecraft ever built for a planetary mission, it completed a Mars gravity assist on March 1, 2025 and will perform an Earth gravity assist in December 2026 before arriving at Jupiter in April 2030.

The spacecraft will then conduct 49 close flybys of Europa to investigate whether the icy moon could harbor conditions suitable for life beneath its frozen surface.
